The Vegan Sloppy Jane is loved by carnivores and herbivores alike.

Why We Love It: “It’s not easy to find a gluten free, dairy free pizza, but I have found a delicious one with great fresh vegetables at Cucina Colore in Cherry Creek. Yum!”
This casual, yet sleek kitchen boasts a long wine list and contemporary take on Italian cuisine. A breezy and open interior instantly puts you in the mood for a relaxing lunch. With a wood oven on site, the wood smoke is well entrenched in each and every crus This might be the best patio dining in Cherry Creek North, with great people watching and they even have dog bowls outside for your fury friend to sip a cool one!

“Proto’s pizza is the best pizza in town, hands down. It’s a wood fired thin crust pizza that will make you fall in love at first bite. Located near 15th and Platte with a quaint and casual atmosphere.” –
At Proto’s, they are known for their thin crust excellence. After moving from Boston, Pam Proto was dedicated to bringing the flavors and smells of the traditional thin crust, bubbly, charred east coast style pizza to Colorado. Proto’s has been recognized for their East coast style pie by many publications, including Bon Appetit.

Why We Love It: “It’s an authentic New York pizzeria where the cooks yell across the room and make everyone feel at home!” –
Big Bill’s is a true New York style pizza, none of that deep dish stuff! Just the thin crust with tangy tomato sauce, lots of cheese, and cooked to perfection. Not to mention the garlic knots are beyond delicious and the individual slices are large enough to satisfy any craving. But what really puts this pizzeria over the top is the attentive staff, many of whom have worked at Bill’s for years and treat each other like family. Even Big Bill himself is a fixture around the neighborhood.

Why We Love It: “They make this deep dish pizza with the lightest crust. The crust is just crispy enough and the ingredients are really fresh. It looks like it would be a heavy pizza, but it’s not. Really awesome. This is our go to sit down pizza place.” –
Blue Pan Pizza specializes in serving award-winning authentic Detroit-style pizza. Located in Denver’s West Highlands Neighborhood, they offer pizza by the slice, carry-out, and in house dining. The signature characteristic of this Detroit-style pizza, the caramelized crust, is achieved by using a unique blend brick, white cheddar, and whole milk mozzarella cheeses. Pizza is their passion and while you will love every bite you take of their authentic Detroit-style pizza’s, don’t forget to taste all the other authentic styles they make as well!

They have locations in Uptown, Cherry Creek, and Southern Hills. Relo residents from the Windy City have to try this!” –

MOD Pizza – simple food for complex times. The concept is a build-your-own pizza, similar to chains such as Chipotle or Mad Greens. You pick the size of the pizza and can add as many toppings as your heart desires without any extra cost! The pizza is mouth-watering, the wait is no more than ten minutes, and the service is outstanding. MOD stands above the rest who have tried to bring the good, the cheap, and the fast to this doughy business. Their crunchy crust, will keep a pizza lover coming back for more.

Why We Love It: “A laid-back parlor with outdoor seats serving familiar pies with a deep-dish option and Italian fare! Brick sidewalks and a small, casual, trendy neighborhood spot. Everyone coming here is walking and the staff are the friendliest.” –
Walter’s Pizzeria, where good people and great pizza meet! They make their dough fresh daily, hand stretch it, and cover it with premium toppings. Along with having an excellent selection of red sauce pizzas, Walter’s also boasts garlic ranch sauce, bbq sauce, and herb garlic olive oil sauce pies. While you’re there be sure to try out the Keep Tahoe Blue pie, which is a favorite among regulars and newbies alike.
